The Service Technician II is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN. This position involves performing maintenance and repair tasks, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing field service support. The role also requires interacting with clients to deliver excellent customer service and ensuring that all security systems operate efficiently. The Service Technician II plays a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing security solutions for clients.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Maintenance and Repair of security systems and equipment
Strong Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience in Field Service operations
Demonstrated expertise in Customer Service to foster client satisfaction
Ability to handle recurring Maintenance tasks with precision and reliability
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional environment
Relevant technical training and certifications in security systems preferred
Experience working in the security or technology industry is a plus.
Skills:
Advanced troubleshooting of security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm)
Strong knowledge of low voltage wiring and system integration
Experience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics
Programming and servicing panels (Honeywell, Bosch, Fire-Lite, etc.)
Networking basics (IP cameras, routers, switches, port forwarding)
Experience with monitoring stations and alarm communication (cell/IP)
Ability to diagnose issues efficiently and provide solutions on-site
Strong attention to detail and documentation (service reports, photos)
Good communication skills with customers and team members
Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
