Duties
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to keep lawns healthy and vibrant
- Maintain landscape features including planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrub care
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for landscaping projects, skid steers for grading and many other aspects
- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering efficiency
- Construct hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden features
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients
- Provide tree care services including planting, pruning, removal, and health assessments
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and efficiency during projects
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping machinery and hand tools
- Expertise in lawn care techniques including mowing, aeration, fertilization, and weed control
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices such as pruning, planting, and soil management
- Experience with landscaping design principles and hardscape construction
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
- Ability to perform tree care tasks including trimming and health assessment
- Skilled in using power tools safely and effectively for construction and maintenance tasks
- Basic horticulture knowledge to select appropriate plants for different environments
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina
- Excellent attention to detail for quality workmanship in all landscaping projects
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
