Field Technician
We offer a competitive salary, on the job training, and opportunities for professional growth. This job has a starting range of $16-$18/hour with opportunities for raises as you receive certifications. We also offer a $200/month insurance stipend and 7 days of PTO a year.
This job requires extensive travel throughout the southeast, including Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. Some overnight travel is required.
ES Green & Company is full service Green and Energy Rating company. We provide cohesive energy/green services throughout the southeast, including:
- Energy Star Certification
- FGBC Green Certification
- NGBS Green Certification
- Environmental Consulting
- Disaster Recovery Green/Energy Certification and Consulting
- Building Envelope Tightness Testing (commonly called Blower Door testing) for Certificate of Occupancy
- Duct testing
- Load Calculations and Manual J Services
As a Field Technician, you will often be on construction sites and job sites, working with heavy equipment (the blower door fan - up to 50 lbs), and going into attics. The end goal is for the Field Tech to become certified with their RFI (rating field inspector) license and their FGBC certifying agent certification within 3 months of starting this job. Future relocation may be an option. No experience is necessary, and we offer on the job training.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable Transportation
- High School Diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma)
- Ability to work part time, 32 hours per week (9am - 5pm, Monday-Thursday)
- Some Friday workdays may be offered
- Travel throughout the state into neighboring states will be required
Responsibilities:
- Assist other Field Techs with field work
- Work independently at times
- Be timely and follow a schedule
- Come to work with a good attitude and willingness to be flexible
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Go into attics
