Summary:

Responsibilities:

· Manage and supervise a production team consisting of skilled operators to meet the department's output, quality and cycle time targets.

· Communicating and liaise with Management, Planning and Engineering on daily production issues

· Create and maintain a harmonious and safe working environment that instills teamwork, commitment and ownership in the team

· Work to create a culture of learning and sharing of Best-Known Methods to simplify procedures and process flows

· Able to lead and motivate subordinates to achieve organizational goals.

· Possesses sound knowledge on relevant company policies and regulations.

· To ensure working procedure and work instructions are followed.

· Internalize positive work culture and implement to ensure high standard of housekeeping of machine and vicinity.

· Create and maintain a harmonious and safe working environment that instills teamwork, commitment and ownership in the team

· Handling grievance, complaints, employee problems and disciplinary issues through effective counselling.

· Facilitate continuous improvement on process simplification, labor productivity and cost reduction.

· Ensure conformance to the quality system requirement (FMEA, Control plan).

· Ensure positive and effective communication.

· Manage inventory control of all stock items to meet department budget and in cases where there is over usage, need to investigate the cause and define preventive action.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree with 3 or more years of experience in continuous process Manufacturing Industry

· Able to work with little or no direct supervision

· Able to handle multiple priorities/tasks efficiently

· Show leadership qualities

· Good team player

· Fresh Graduate is encouraged to apply.

· Good problem-solving skills

· Good level of computer literacy

· Possess effective decision-making skills and think logically.
