We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records, support warehouse operations, and ensure efficient handling of goods. This role requires strong analytical skills, familiarity with inventory systems, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
**This job is NOT Remote. All tasks are performed in our Inventory (Returns) area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage inventory refurbishment and recovery processes to maximize product usability.
- Execute inventory-related tasks using SAP Business ByDesign (SAP ByD) is a plus.
- Receive and process inventory returns from vendors, ensuring proper documentation and tracking (Amazon, Ship Station, Walmart).
- Generate and maintain reports on damaged inventory, including analysis and recommendations.
- Assist with shipment preparation, coordination, and tracking to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain organized records of inventory movements and adjustments.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams with inventory processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with SAP Business ByDesign or similar ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Ability to lift and move inventory items as needed.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with inventory auditing and discrepancy resolution.
- Knowledge of logistics and shipment coordination.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Forklift certification is a plus, but not required. We will train within.
