What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist Orthopedic Clinic position at ERVIN PHYSICAL THERAPY?
A Physical Therapy Career Where Your Work Finally Feels Meaningful Again
Picture this.
You finish a session and realize you were fully present the entire time. No rushing. No clock-watching. Just focused care, clear thinking, and a patient who genuinely benefited from the work you did together.
For a new graduate kicking off their career, this is the kind of day you imagined when you chose physical therapy.
For an experienced Physical Therapist, it is the kind of day you remember and want back.
What most clinicians are searching for is not an easier job. They are searching for the ability to practice with intention, use their training fully, and leave work knowing their effort truly mattered.
At Ervin Physical Therapy in Morganfield, Kentucky, that experience is built into the role.
Here, your time is protected, your clinical reasoning is trusted, and your presence matters. You are not asked to move faster or compromise care. You are supported in practicing physical therapy the way it was meant to be practiced.
Our Mission: Care That Truly Changes Lives
We believe clinicians do their best work when they are given time, trust, and support.
As a therapist-owned practice, decisions are made based on clinical reasoning and patient benefit, not spreadsheets or quotas. Our mission is simple: support therapists so they can deliver exceptional, patient-first care that creates lasting change.
This is a place where clinicians reconnect with purpose and stay because they can grow without burning out.
Why This Role Is Different
- Protected one-on-one care every time: You treat one patient at a time, giving you the space to think clearly, stay present, and deliver care you are proud of without ending the day drained.
- Mentorship that fits your stage of practice: Structured collaboration supports both new and experienced clinicians, so you continue growing without giving up autonomy or personal time.
- A clinician-led environment: Your clinical judgment is trusted, allowing care decisions to be guided by reasoning rather than productivity pressure.
- A schedule that supports real balance: A manageable caseload and predictable hours help you do great work at the clinic and still enjoy your life outside of it.
- Growth you can see and feel: CEUs, certifications, and leadership development are actively supported, so your career continues moving forward.
For New Graduate Physical Therapists
You do not need to have everything figured out on day one.
You will receive real mentorship and weekly collaboration designed to help you build confidence, strengthen clinical reasoning, and grow into the clinician you want to become, without being overwhelmed or rushed.
This is an environment where learning is encouraged, questions are welcomed, and your development is treated as a priority.
For Experienced Physical Therapists
You already know what good care looks like.
Here, you have the autonomy to practice the way you believe is right, without micromanagement or productivity pressure. Your experience is respected, your clinical judgment is trusted, and your voice helps shape patient care.
There is room to deepen a specialty, mentor others, or grow into leadership, without sacrificing the parts of patient care that matter most to you.
The Impact You Will Make
Every day, you help patients reduce pain, restore independence, and move with confidence again.
You see real progress. Measurable outcomes. Meaningful change, and you end each day knowing your work mattered.
