Position Summary: We are seeking a production team member to operate equipment and processes to produce metal particles and particle assemblies.
Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can follow safe working practices, maintain high-quality product standards, and work effectively in a team environment. As a production team member, you will be responsible for operating various equipment, following company policies and procedures, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- FOLLOW SAFE WORKING PRACTICES
- Maintain high-quality product standards through training and work instructions
- Follow all company policies, rules, and procedures
- Operate hand tools, measuring equipment, calculators, and computers
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment
- Help troubleshoot equipment and quality concerns
- Maintain reports and related paperwork as required
- Suggest improvement ideas and plans
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic math skills
- Familiarity with a manufacturing environment
- Able to work with others and in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Standing, walking while performing duties
- Occasionally required to climb, stoop, or kneel
Working Schedule:
- 1st shift - 7am-3:30 pm
- 2nd shift - 3pm-11:30 pm
- 3rd shift - 11pm-7:30 am
- Must be flexible, as senior employees have priority to displace newer employees to other positions and shifts
- Overtime and weekends as required
Compensation:
- Starting wage: $19.50/hr
- 2nd shift premium $1.00/hr, 3rd shift premium $0.50/hr
- Melting department premium $1.50/hr
- Overtime- Time and half. Sundays- double time.
