MELTING FOREMAN
Job Summary:
Melting Foreman will be responsible for Electric Arc Furnace melting production including furnace operations, atomization process, chemistries, repairs and hourly employees.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Supervision and scheduling of employees in the Melting and Maintenance departments during afternoon or midnight shift. Position reports to Melting
Supervisor.
- Accountable for upholding Safety, Production, Quality, and Environmental standards: including implementation and enforcement of Plant Safety Manual,
ISO 9001 Quality Manual, and ISO 14001 Environmental Manual.
- Accountable for Cost Control
- Maintain equipment to meet production goals.
- Maintain Parts & Supplies inventories
- Assist with Recordkeeping requirements
Qualifications:
- Good written, verbal and leadership skills.
- High School diploma plus additional education and/or pertinent job experience
- Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in the carbon steel melting production, maintenance, and repair activities
- Basic computer skills are desirable: working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets
- Ability to ascend/descend heights to inspect/evaluate equipment such as overhead cranes and dust collectors.
- Primary work shift: Afternoon 2:00PM - 10:00PM

Pay: $72,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
