Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, with precision and safety.
- Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material movement to support construction activities.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with site cleanup, material handling, and logistical support as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, dump trucks.
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on construction sites.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance checks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required
- Familiarity with running grade using laser level
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Pay: $26.08 - $35.00 per hour
