Shop Technician - Assembly & Fabrication

ERTL Combustion is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building things, working with tools, and supporting a variety of fabrication and assembly projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience using hand and power tools and be comfortable assisting with mechanical and electrical assembly. Manufacturing, fabrication, construction, maintenance, automotive, agricultural equipment, or similar hands-on experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

· Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools

· Operate steel saws, threaders, and other fabrication equipment

· Perform mechanical assembly of products and components

· Assist with basic electrical wiring and electrical component installation

· Support paint preparation and finishing processes

· Perform specialty cleaning and final product preparation

· Follow work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures

· Assist in various shop operations as needed

Qualifications:

· Experience using hand and power tools required

· Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and follow assembly instructions

· Basic electrical wiring or electrical assembly experience preferred

· Manufacturing, fabrication, construction, maintenance, automotive, agricultural, or industrial experience preferred

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

· Willingness to learn new skills and take on a variety of tasks

Physical requirements:

· Ability to stand and work on your feet throughout the day

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

· Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop environment
