Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Independent Contractors to join our team as Drivers. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering last mile packages to customers at their home or business while ensuring exceptional customer service. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism in all driving and delivery tasks.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate your vehicle to transport packages to various locations.
- Load and unload packages to and from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care during transit.
- Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with dispatch or customers during deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
- Must have current vehicle insurance and your name is on policy.
- Must be willing to travel out of town (Muskogee, Coweta, Collinsville, etc).
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred but not necessary.
- Familiarity with driving regulations and practices is essential.
- Strong customer service skills are necessary to ensure client satisfaction during deliveries.
