What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cloud Engineer position at ERP International, LLC?
Responsibilities Include:
- Work with teams to bring continuous improvement to processes and tools
- Ensure work product meets user acceptance criteria
- Manage self-directed assignments
- Meet schedule deadlines and commitments with a high-level of quality of deliverables
- Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor for Cloud and other infrastructure initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights, and advice
- Recommend and implement industry standards
- Implement and ensure adherence to security practices and incorporate them into the automated pipelines
- Clearance Requirements
- Active DoD Security Clearance of Secret or higher
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline
- Minimum Experience:
- 5 years of DevOps experience
- 3 years of experience with Azure and other Cloud environments
- 3 years of experience with Kubernetes in an Azure cloud environment
- 3 years of experience with application and operating system security
- 3 years’ hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible and Terraform
- Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
- Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate strategic information security topics, policies, and standards as well as risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various organizational levels
- Preferred Skills:
- Certification in one or more cloud environments (Azure or AWS)
- Knowledge and experience working in DoD Azure environments
Salary : $140,000 - $190,000
