Position: Vice President - Sales

We are seeking a dynamic and proven Sales Leader to drive new business growth for our IT services and products portfolio across the US East Coast and Midwest regions. The ideal candidate has deep industry relationships, a strong understanding of Data/AI, Digital Transformation, Cloud, and Application engineering services, and a track record of selling multi-million-dollar deals into enterprise accounts. Candidate has also led high performance sales teams and managed $ 50 - 75 M annual quota which includes growing strategic accounts and acquiring new customers.
This role is responsible for full-cycle sales management —from territory planning, team management and pipeline generation to deal shaping, proposal management, negotiation, and account expansion.
- Own end-to-end sales for IT services and products, with individual contribution while managing a team
- Build, manage, and close a $ 50 - 75 M annual sales quota.
- Lead team to identify, prospect, and convert new enterprise clients in BFSI vertical.
- Develop multi-threaded relationships with CEO, CIO, COO, CTO, CDO, CISO, Heads of Digital, Business Leaders, and Procurement.
- Individually lead top strategic accounts
- Drive team to lead account expansion through consultative, value-based selling.
- Work with delivery, solution architects, and practice leaders to craft differentiated proposals.
- Expand existing accounts through cross-sell and upsell of services such as:
- Digital Engineering
- Application Development & Modernization
- AI/ML & Data Platforms
- Mortgage & BFSI technology services
- AI Powered SDLC
- Salesforce / ServiceNow / Enterprise SaaS
Pipeline & Forecasting
- Maintain a healthy pipeline 3–5× of quota.
- Provide accurate monthly/quarterly forecasts on revenue, bookings, and margins for the portfolio.
- Track stage-wise progress through Salesforce.
- Partner closely with delivery leaders to ensure pricing, SOWs, and staffing are optimized for win-win.
- Lead deal reviews, proposal governance, and contract compliance.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- 15 - 25 years of IT services sales experience in the US market.
- Proven track record of closing $ 10-25 M bookings in BFSI vertical.
- Strong rolodex in East Coast and Midwest financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Data, AI, Digital transformation, Cloud, and application modernization.
- Ability to navigate complex enterprise procurement, RFPs, MSAs, InfoSec, and onboarding processes.
- Experience with outcome-based, fixed-bid, T&M, managed services, and “skin-in-the-game” models.
- Executive presence and strong storytelling ability.
- Strong negotiation and contract management.
- Highly self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- Meeting/exceeding quarterly and annual bookings goals.
- Growing strategic accounts to $25 annually.
- Acquiring 8-12 large new customers annually
- High client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Demonstrated ability to build pipelines quickly and convert them.
- Strong collaboration with delivery teams and maintaining margin discipline.
