Ernie's Excavation is a growing underground utility company based in Manchester, NH, specializing in water lines, sewer lines, and site excavation. We're a small, tight-knit crew under new management since 2024. Opportunity to grow with us as we expand.
What you'll do
- Transport excavation equipment to and from job sites
- Load and unload equipment safely; properly secure all loads
- Haul materials including pipe, stone, fill, and debris as needed
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
- Assist the crew on-site as needed
- Communicate proactively with the foreman on schedule and logistics
What we're looking for
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- Experience hauling equipment with a lowboy or flatbed trailer is a plus, but not required
- Solid knowledge of load securement — chains, binders, and straps
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
- Construction or excavation experience is a plus, but not required
