Shipper

The Shipping and Packaging Clerk is responsible for managing the flow of goods into and out of the company. This includes verifying incoming shipments, preparing outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physical tasks related to shipping and receiving.

Schedule: 40 hours per week

Monday - Friday: 7am - 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipping Goods:

  • Prepare and pack outgoing shipments according to company standards and customer specifications.

  • Generate shipping labels, documentation, and any necessary customs paperwork.

  • Load pallets of packaged instruments for large shipments

  • Ensure all outgoing shipments are accurate and complete.

• Packaging Finishing Goods:

  • Package completed guitars and basses into cases and boxes

  • Package small accessories and parts

  • Document work in internal computer shipping system

• Safety and Compliance:

  • Follow safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Handle hazardous materials and equipment following proper procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in using computer systems

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 55 lbs.

• Ability to work on your feet for long periods.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately measure and calculate quantities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in shipping/receiving and inventory management

• Experience with UPS, FedEx shipping platforms

• Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.

Full Time Benefits:

• $18.50-$19.00/hr
