Duties
- Welcome guests with a warm, genuine smile and friendly attitude as they arrive at the venue
- Assist guests with directions, seating arrangements, or inquiries about services offered
- Manage guest flow by monitoring entry points and ensuring smooth traffic during busy times
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate seating or reservations when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized greeting area to uphold a professional appearance
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with reservations or guest check-ins when required
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest questions promptly and courteously
Qualifications
- Previous host/hostess experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments enhances your ability to handle guest needs efficiently
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices
- Ability to remain energetic, attentive, and professional during busy periods
