At Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Indiana, we are passionate about patient care! We provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to our patients who are often recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions. At our 40-bed hospital, we provide specialized treatment in the Northern Indiana. We see patients who often are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent unless registered by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician
- Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy preferred
- Hospital experience preferred
- National certification (PTCB) preferred

- Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
- Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
- Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
- Ability to utilize concepts of age/developmental stages in interactions with patients and families.
Responsibilities
Retrieves, counts, and measures drugs. Assists Pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of drugs. Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer. Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
