Mesquite Rehabilitation Institute has been ranked in the Top 10% nationally for rehabilitative care for 11 years and has earned The Joint Commission’s Stroke Certification and Hi Fracture Certification. At our 30-bed hospital, we provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to our patients, serving Mesquite and the surrounding communities. We see patients who often are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.
We are seeking a full-time Outpatient Admissions Coordinator to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- One (1) year experience in Business Office or Admissions Office in a medical setting preferred.
- OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
- Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
Responsible for coordinating with patients, families and caregivers to ensure that all admission requirements to the facility are met. Acts as a liaison to managed care companies, facilitating admissions, and hospital returns. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
