Director of Marketing and Business Development

At Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest Ohio, we are passionate about patient care! Nationally Recognized: Our hospital has been ranked in the Top 10% nationally for rehabilitative care for 7 years and has earned The Joint Commission’s Brain Injury, Stroke and Cardiac Certification.  At our 40-bed hospital, we provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to our patients, serving Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. We see patients who often are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

We are seeking a Director of Marketing & Business Development to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Required Skills:

• Three to five years current experience in healthcare required, preferably in a hospital setting or sales.
• Strong background in client services and relationship management preferred.
• Supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare field, marketing, or related field preferred.

• Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.

Is the individual primarily responsible for the planning and execution of all marketing efforts including public relations, marketing, and sales to ensure full occupancy of the facility.  Manages and directs the staff in the Marketing and Business Development Department. Provides administration with summaries and recommendations from market research evaluations. Coordinates the production and placement of advertisements. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
