The Associate Instructional Designer is responsible for building scalable, enterprise-wide‑ training content using established tools, templates, and standards. This role focuses on transforming existing content into structured, engaging learning experiences delivered through Articulate Rise, Storyline, PowerPoint, and 7Taps.
You will develop and create engaging training materials for diverse audiences that align with business goals. This role requires creativity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
This role is remote within the following states: AZ, FL, GA, IL, KS, NC, NE, SD, TN, TX, WI, and WY. Candidates may reside in or relocate to any of these states. Relocation assistance will be provided.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Build eLearning‑ modules using Articulate Rise and Storyline and micro-learnings using 7Taps
- Develop instructor led‑ and virtual training materials using PowerPoint and quick reference guides and handouts in Canva
- Convert existing documentation, presentations, and content into learner friendly‑ formats
- Develop job aids, facilitator guides, and participant materials
- Update and maintain enterprise-wide‑ training content
- Apply ERMCO branding, accessibility, and formatting standards
- Perform self-checks prior to submitting‑ work for review
- Build scalable learning assets that support leadership programs and initiatives
- Develop reusable modules, decks, and learning resources aligned to enterprise needs
- Apply ERMCO branding, accessibility, and formatting standards
- Review the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and metrics analysis, recommending improvements as necessary.
- Maintain documentation and version control of instructional materials and courseware.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Content Development, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field OR 2 years of experience in content development or a related field.
- Experience developing learning or training materials in a corporate environment
- Hands-on experience with Articulate Rise, Storyline, and PowerPoint
- Strong written, visual, and organizational skills
- Ability to apply feedback and follow standards consistently
- Comfort working with existing content and templates
- Experience supporting enterprise or leadership training
- Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles
- Experience working within a formal L&D team or process
