As a Consulting Director, Land Services, your leadership will ensure clients navigate complex land rights, permitting, and compliance challenges, enabling critical infrastructure and renewable projects to succeed.

- Drive business growth by developing and expanding client relationships in the Power, Renewables, and Energy sectors.
- Lead negotiations for land rights, acquisitions, and easements that enable major capital projects.
- Shape ERM’s strategic direction and contribute to thought leadership in sustainability consulting.
- Mentor and grow a high-performing team, fostering the next generation of industry leaders.
- Deliver innovative solutions that help clients meet regulatory, environmental, and community expectations.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of relevant experience (15 years preferred) in land services or related consulting.
- Proven success in the renewable energy and/or utility industry.
- Strong negotiation skills for complex property and land agreements.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
- Deep knowledge of renewable energy, gas, and electric utility sectors.
- Familiarity with courthouse record-keeping and title research.
- Understanding of property rights, eminent domain, and state/local ownership laws.
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to win new business and grow revenue.
- Negotiate and secure land agreements, rights-of-way, leases, and fee purchases.
- Oversee title research, land valuation studies, and permitting processes.
- Lead consulting engagements in impact assessment and compliance.
- Build and manage a high-performance team of land agents and consultants.
- Collaborate with ERM Partners and global experts to deliver world-class solutions.
- Ensure projects meet health & safety, financial, and regulatory standards.
