What are the responsibilities and job description for the Consultant, Land and Right of Way position at ERM?
Bring your land, right-of-way, and stakeholder expertise to projects that power communities and advance a more sustainable future. At ERM, experienced consultants have the opportunity to step into complex, high‑impact infrastructure projects while helping shape how energy systems are responsibly planned, built, and maintained.
Why This Role Matters
As critical energy infrastructure expands and modernizes, securing land access and maintaining trusted relationships with property owners and stakeholders is essential. In this role, you will play a key part in enabling electric transmission and distribution projects to move forward—balancing regulatory, technical, and community considerations while supporting responsible development across diverse landscapes.
What Your Impact Is
As a Consultant, Land & Right of Way, you will serve as a trusted partner to clients, landowners, and project teams—helping to negotiate, secure, and manage land rights that allow essential facilities to be constructed, operated, and maintained. Your work will directly support project delivery, risk management, and long‑term client success across the upper Midwest and beyond.
Required
What You’ll Bring
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, parental leave, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, AD&D insurance, 401(k) or RRSP/DPSP, and other applicable benefits to eligible employees.
Note: Bonuses, commissions, and other forms of additional compensation are not guaranteed and subject to the sole discretion of ERM and its policies and procedures.
