Reports to: Radix Westside General Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Sales and QC Representative Job Summary:

This position is responsible for achieving customer satisfaction and revenue generation for Radix Westside and the Erlen Group. The person in this position will monitor and test process functions and materials to ensure that product meets or exceeds requirements of the appropriate agency or customer, while also working to develop new customers and increase the Company’s market share and profitability.

Sales and QC Representative Duties/Responsibilities:

• Write, modify, and update Aggregate Quality Control Plan
• Use accepted methods to inspect, sample, and test aggregates for quality control purposes
• Sample and test mixtures to stay in compliance with contract specifications and quality control
• Prepare and record accurate information; maintain all laboratory equipment and test result databases
• Maintain contact with all clients in the market area and work toward generating new revenue streams
• Work closely with Production Manager, Mine Manager, and Scale House Operator to optimize customer turn around
• Support and assist with all projects in the field or underground as needed
• Work with Accounts Payable to setup payment arrangements
• Make community appearances at functions and job fairs to increase Company exposure
• Perform gradations and quality control testing across multiple companies location as operationally required
• Cross Train as a scale house attendant and fill-in to operate the scale way trucks and manage ticketing documentation during staff basis or peak volumes

Sales and QC Representative Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and teach MSHA classes

Sales and QC Representative Skills/Abilities:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain professional relationships both internally and externally

Sales and QC Representative Education and Experience:

• Required: MoDot Certified Aggregate Technician 
• Required: Valid Driver’s License

Sales and QC Representative Physical and/or Travel Requirements:

• Must be able to routinely lift carry a maneuver up to 50 pounds to successfully conduct material testing and gradations.
• Ability to stand, walk and navigate uneven Quarry to rain, outdoor environments and laboratory settings for extended periods of time
• Some regional travel required to assist with quality control and gradations at alternative Quarry locations
