The Respiratory Student Technician works under the direction of the Respiratory Clinical Manager. This position is designed for students who are actively enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy Program, working to become a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Education:
Required:
Respiratory Therapy student who is actively enrolled in an accredited respiratory program, working toward the RRT credential.
Preferred:
NA
Experience:
Required:
Enrolled in accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
Demonstrates good computer skills, effective time management and effective oral/written communication skills required. Familiarization with all equipment utilized in the respiratory care departments is expected.
Preferred:
Previous clinical experience in a healthcare setting.

The Respiratory Student Technician will work closely with the Respiratory Care Inventory Supply Tech and assist with all aspects of his role.
The Respiratory Student Tech is expected to be actively pursuing the goal of becoming a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
