We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team at Erlanger Behavioral Health Hospital. Erlanger Behavioral Health Hospital is a 144-bed treatment center at the corner of Holtzclaw and Citico avenues in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Our inpatient and outpatient services help adolescents and adults of all genders find lasting healing from a variety of mental health concerns and co-occurring substance use disorders

- Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.
- Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
- Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
- Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
- Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
- Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
- One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred.
- Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.
- Board certification in psychiatry
- Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
