I’m looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Marketing & Sales Assistant to support my styling business. This is a remote, contract role with flexible hours, built around clear deadlines and deliverables.
While the role is remote, candidates must be based in Los Angeles and have a strong understanding of the local market, clientele, and overall brand positioning. No more than 1 in person meeting per month.
This is a support role, not a styling position. You’ll be responsible for executing marketing initiatives, managing email campaigns, and supporting both client growth and backend operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and schedule weekly email campaigns in Squarespace
- Translate email content into Instagram story content (2 posts per send)
- Support Pinterest strategy and SEO (pin creation, optimization, linking)
- Track performance and pull reports on email, affiliate, and content performance
- Manage ShopMy links, affiliate tracking, and product organization
- Support strategies to grow the email list and drive affiliate revenue
- Assist with lead tracking, client follow-ups, and sales support
- Provide backend support for client admin within the styling app (digital closet organization, uploads, etc.)
- Support client management systems (HoneyBook experience a plus)
- Maintain backend organization across platforms
What I’m Looking For:
- Strong experience with Squarespace email marketing (required)
- Must enjoy creating in Canva and have an eye for design — with the ability to build beautiful, on-brand emails that align with a defined visual direction (all fonts, colors, and brand assets will be provided, along with access to Canva Teams)
- Understanding of Pinterest SEO and growth strategy
- Comfortable working with data, reporting, and performance metrics
- Proficient in Canva, Google Drive, and Gmail
- Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
- A self-starter who can execute independently and meet deadlines
- Someone who brings creative ideas and marketing insight, not just execution
- Strong understanding of the Los Angeles market, service-based businesses, and client behavior
- Familiarity with affiliate platforms (ShopMy or similar) and creator monetization strategies
- Interest in sales, client experience, and conversion strategy
- Strong sense of aesthetic and brand alignment (fashion/creative background is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
About the Role:
The goal of this role is to support both marketing and sales growth — creating content and campaigns that surprise and delight potential clients, while building a strong, intentional funnel that leads to bookings, affiliate revenue, and long-term relationships.
