Project Manager - Commercial Construction

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager specializing in Commercial Construction to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. Duties

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop detailed project schedules using MS Project or similar project management software, coordinating all phases of construction from design through closeout.
• Review construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Supervise and manage teams on-site and off-site, including subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
• Ensure construction regulatory compliance by adhering to local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Utilize construction management software for document control, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders.
• Oversee project scheduling activities related to construction site operations and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans accurately to guide project execution.
• Manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure clear scope definitions and successful project delivery.
• Maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports, safety records, change orders, and compliance reports.
• Weekly site meetings with superintendents and clients
• Manage permitting and inspections with the superintendent

Experience

• Proven experience managing commercial construction projects with a focus on retail commercial projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Hands-on experience with construction site management including safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent understanding of contracts, blueprint reading, project scope development, and change management processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, presentations, and communication purposes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $89,300.00 - $108,000.00 per year
