The Program Specialist is responsible for overseeing residential operations and directly supervising the Residential Manager and Direct Support Professional employees in the assigned group homes. The Program Specialist directs a variety of cross-disciplinary services for residents in the assigned group homes, including progress notes, ISPs/assessments, etc., as outlined below.
- Coordinating the completion of assessments.
- Participating in the individual plan process, development, team reviews and implementation in accordance with Chapter 6400.44.
- Providing and supervising activities for the individuals in accordance with the individual plans.
- Supporting the integration of individuals in the community.
- Supporting individual communication and involvement with families and friends.
- Planning and evaluating all therapeutic care and treatment programs for residents-hierarchy of care, active treatment, and agency expectations for employees and regulatory compliance.
- Regularly meets with the Residential Managers and Residential Coordinator to review status of day-to-day operations regarding programs, group home and employment related concerns.
- Acts as the liaison between parents and supports coordinators and case managers.
Base pay rate, $22.51/hour. Pay rate based upon experience.
