What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Quality Control Supervisor position at Erie Engineered Products, Inc.?
A Metal manufacturing company specializing in formed sheet metal and aluminum and steel weldments is searching for a full time Junior Quality Control Supervisor with a minimum of 2 years experience.
Qualifications Include:
->Experience in reading shop drawings for the manufacture of parts, weldments, and assemblies
->basic knowledge of the Quality Control System. Familiarity with Military Specs is a plus!
-> Basic understanding of manufacturing practices
-> Experience in leading/ guiding a small team
-> Team player, works well with others
-> Good written and verbal communication skills a must.
-> Experience in using quality inspection tools
Responsibilities include:
-> Supervision of union Quality personnel
-> Ensure 100% quality inspections are being carried out on all products
-> Responsible for company quality system compliance
-> Will be point of contact and will personally handle 3rd party audits or inspections
-> Responsible for the completion of all quality documentation
Education Desired:
-> Associate Degree of Science (AS)/ Applies Science (AAS)
-> Equivalent work experience may be substituted for college degree
The position is a full-time, salary, non-union position.
The shift for this position is 7:00am- 3:30pm

Pay: $55,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
