Seeking Medical Assistants. Full and Part-time opportunities available. The Erie County Health Department & Erie County Community Health Center are expanding and adding services. We are located on the shores of Lake Erie in Sandusky, Ohio. The Agency is a local public health department and federally qualified health center (FQHC), including a dental office, detox and crisis stabilization centers, and an off-site adult day services facility.

Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program
- Current Certified/Registered Medical Assistant Certification
- Minimum of one year of work experience in a medical office (preferred)
- Certified health care provider CPR (Preferred)
- Valid Ohio driver’s license, current certificate of vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation to all assigned work locations.
- National Incident Management System (NIMS)/Incident Command System (ICS) 100.c, 700.b, and 200.c certifications within one month of employment.
