POSITION: Guest Services Supervisor
STATUS: Part-time
REPORTS TO: Head Guest Services Supervisor

HOURLY RANGE: $17.00 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY: **
The Guest Services Supervisor is primarily responsible for supervising Guest Services employees for various events at Erie Events facilities. He/she is responsible for patron assistance including; giving directions, seating, assisting patrons with physical disabilities, assisting the EMT with injured patrons/employees and completing accident reports. He/she is also responsible for assuring patrons adhere to all rules and regulations established by the Erie Events and its tenants. He/she may be responsible for handling, counting and securing money. The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for the operation, staffing and set up of walk-through magnetometers and the management of patrons through the security measures of the various Erie Events venues.
QUALIFICATIONS: **
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- He/she must have strong communication skills.
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
Job Description Detail
- Ensure Guest Services personnel are monitoring patrons at admission through conducting a visual inspection of persons and property to ensure prohibited items are not brought into the facility.
- Ensure Guest Services employees are controlling areas related to the performance stage area, dressing room corridors, backstage, bus and truck production areas and related equipment.
- Ensure Guest Services employees are maintaining designated position until event is over and building is empty unless relieved by supervisor or designee.
- Hire, train and staff Guest Services personnel to meet the need of Erie Events venues and events.
- Clear and check facility upon the conclusion of the event to ensure appropriate areas are vacated in a timely manner.
- Assist in investigating and appropriately resolving complaints received from patrons.
- Follow established Erie Events protocol for first aid emergencies, evacuations, patron ejections etc.
- Complete written accident/incident form for all patron accidents, injuries, ejections or arrests.
- Follow dress code for all Guest Services personnel. This may vary per event type.
- Adhere to all Erie Events rules and regulations per Erie Events Employee Handbook.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations per Erie Events Event Handbook.
- Assist in providing an overall enjoyable, safe and orderly event for the enjoyment of the patrons, employees and artists.
- He/she will settle with show concert merch reps at the end of events.
- He/she will need to learn how to take payments of checks, cash, and credit cards charges for settlements.
- Learn and utilize the POSI system.
- Other duties as assigned.
