Summary:
The Registrar provides leadership and oversight of the College’s registration, academic records, and degree audit functions, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of student data while supporting student success. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and delivering high-quality service to students, faculty, and staff.

- Provide leadership in developing and refining policies and procedures related to records, registration, financial aid, and academic compliance.
- Provide oversight and day-to-day management for all registration and student records processes.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure student data is accurate, accessible, and available in a timely manner.
- Oversee the integrity, maintenance, and security of student academic records in compliance with FERPA and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage student enrollment, registration, course scheduling, grading, withdrawals, and academic standing processes.
- Certify degree completion and oversee graduation processing, including coordination of commencement lists and diplomas.
- Ensure the accurate and timely entry and maintenance of student data in the Student Information System (Workday).
- Evaluate incoming transcripts and transfer credit to determine academic equivalency and degree applicability.
- Develop and maintain academic calendars, registration timelines, and procedural documentation.
- Prepare and analyze institutional reports to monitor student performance trends and support accreditation and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with academic leadership and student support services to resolve student issues and improve operational efficiency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in a registrar’s office or related higher education experience.
- Demonstrated experience in administering and maintaining registration and records operations, preferably in a community college setting.
- Proficiency in records management best practices and working knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks, including FERPA.
- Experience with Student Information Systems; Workday experience strongly preferred.
