Route Driver Helper

Summary:

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this position is responsible and accountable for providing excellent customer service, which includes reliable and efficient delivery and service of products, and targeted sales and merchandising activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check the truck load to ensure proper product and package count, and nothing is damaged.
• Assist with the correct check in and check out procedures.
• Ensure all invoiced products are delivered as appropriate, including draft and packaged beer.
• Stock, rotate and fall all products that are stocked.
• Manage, rotate and maintain a neat backroom where applicable (Stock, empties and breakers).
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Valid Drivers License, with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a Class A Commerical Drivers License.
• Create, develop and maintain good will (positive relationships) in every account.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance (report in clean and neat uniform at scheduled starting time).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Operate various tools and equipment to include an ipad, hand trucks and various small hand tools.
• Keep the vehicle neat, clean and operational at all times.
• Drive vehicle safely , courteously and legally.
• Report all vehicle damage and required maintenance to Service Team Leader.
• Properly care for all company equipment.
• Ability to lift, move, carry, push and pull up to 165 pounds of product.
• Displays a positive attitude and patience in dealing with customers.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Self motivated with the ability to multi task and prioritize.
• Have strong communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Proven teamwork and people skills.
