The Board of Cooperative Educational Services, Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus is seeking qualified candidates for the following position:

Position: Substitute Teacher

Assignment: BOCES Wide

Division: Career & Technical Education/Alternative & Special Education

Appointment: Temporary

Daily Rate: Certified - $150.00 Uncertified - $120.00

Please note: These positions will be filled on an as needed basis through-out the school year.

Qualifications Required:

• Candidates must possess New York State Teaching Certification OR
• Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree. Four years of full-time paid work experience in a technical subject area (i.e. auto body collision repair, cosmetology, conservation/agriculture etc.) can be used in place of a bachelor’s degree if substituting in a Career & Technical Education classroom.

• Ability to work in a variety of settings
• Experience working with special needs students and at-risk students
