Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Next Generation Learning Standards and NY state assessments
- Proficiency with world language(s)
- The ability and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool
- Ability to differentiate instruction for accelerated and delayed learners
- Flexibility, enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to develop programs and collaborate with and support other staff
- Loyalty and evidence of being a team player and willingness to collaborate with staff
- Commitment to equity and inclusion of all members of the school community
- Strong understanding of the LCSD strategic plan and culturally responsive sustaining framework
- Proficiency with more than on foreign language - French, Spanish, Latin - strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of positive classroom management techniques
