Teacher Aide - Summer School (3 Positions)

Anticipated Work Location/Hours:

High School / Middle School Complex

Approx. 9:00 am - 3:15 pm

(Exact hours are subject to change)

Salary

$19.94 / hr per SRP Contract

Duties

• Work with students on a one to one basis, in small groups, and/or in a classroom setting
• Assist with transitions so that students participate in classroom activities
• Provide physical assistance to students
• Supervise students and perform other services as determined by the teacher and principal
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma; or four years of experience and knowledge where specialized duties are involved
• Ability to work with student(s)
• Patience in dealing with students with disabilities
• Good communication skills
• Empathetic but able to positively motivate students to do well
  
  

Qualifications Desired

• Teacher aide experience preferred
• Safety Care® De-Escalation training preferred
