Bufalo Academy of the Sacred Heart seeks a LMS and English teacher. Between the two responsibilities the position is full time. Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart is an all girls, Franciscan high school. As an International Baccalaureate World School, a successful candidate will need to have excellent research skills and the ability to assist and inspire students on their own research path. The right candidate will be committed to creating a warm, welcoming environment for our students and will have the privilege of working in a beautiful, well-utilized library. Additionally, the successful candidate will be a leader in educational technology and be willing to dive into the influence of AI in high school education. The position also offers to opportunity to teach upperclasswomen elective courses in English. In this role, the successful candidate will have a passion for reading and writing and will work to nurture critical and creative thinking, writing and reading skills.
The ideal candidate will have a Masters in Library Science or a related field and experience teaching English at the high school or college level.
