Associate Glass Installer

Job Description

Eridion Glass, LLC is seeking an experienced glazier/shower glass installer to install glass and mirror for residential and small commercial projects throughout the city. The ideal candidate must be able to work well with minimal supervision. You also need to be able to travel to different service sites. Applicants should have relevant job experience with installation, inspections, remodels, and maintenance of residential and commercial glazing construction, as well as understand the implications from other trades (carpentry, drywall, electrical, and painting). Training through previous experiences is required

Duties And Responsibilities

• Travel to various service locations within a 30 mile radious of the Little Rock area as needed
• Install residential showers and mirrors. Work is completely custom and measured to size. 1, 2 and 3-panel showers.
• Install commercial double store-front doors
• Install residential or commercial custom glass enclosures such as office partitions, wine rooms, patio enclosures
• Service and troubleshoot glazing panels and systems
• Prepare for and complete scopes of work, closely following job specifications, code requirements, and safety standards
• Photograph job site conditions and document daily work activity and completion
• Communicate with customers, construction team, and supervisor
• Perform other duties as needed
  
  

Requirements And Qualifications

• Must be reliable and consistent. On time and available during assigned shifts every day of the week.
• High school diploma or GED certificate and training through an apprenticeship or job
• 2 years experience in the flat glass industry installing showers is a plus
• Knowledge of glass types and the different materials required for glass repair and installation
• The ability to use glazier hand tools and equipment to measure, cut, and shape various materials for repair or maintenance
• The ability to apply re-glaze, adhesives, or putty to doors, glass areas, and window sashes
• An understanding of company safety protocols and the ability to adhere to these standards
• Strong customer service and organizational skills

Salary: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
