Associate Veterinarian
Erickson Veterinary Hospital | Chico, California

Erickson Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, progressive small animal practice located in Chico, California. Serving the Chico community and surrounding areas since 1903, our hospital is proud to be AAHA-accredited and Fear Free Certified. We are seeking an additional Associate Veterinarian to join our experienced and collaborative medical team.
Our practice is primarily small animal, with limited exotic species care. We are fully equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including:
- In-house Idexx diagnostic laboratory
- Digital radiography and digital dental radiography
- Ultrasound
- Therapeutic laser
We are supported by a highly trained and dedicated support staff, allowing our veterinarians to focus on delivering high-quality medicine and surgery. Client education, mentorship, and continuing education are central to our practice philosophy. Many of our clients represent third- and fourth-generation families, reflecting our longstanding presence in the community.
Our hospital is open Monday through Saturday and is closed on Sundays. There are no after-hours emergency responsibilities.
Chico is located in Butte County in Northern California, approximately one hour north of Sacramento. The area offers an exceptional quality of life with access to outdoor recreation, including extensive park systems, hiking, biking, water sports, and equestrian activities. Chico is home to California State University, Chico, and offers a family-oriented environment, clean air, diverse dining options, local breweries, and convenient access to Lassen National Park, the Pacific Crest Trail, and Lake Tahoe ski areas.

Candidate Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
- Eligible for licensure in the state of California
