Responsibilities
- Frost donuts in the early mornings to have ready when the store opens.
- Assist in food preparation including dough mixing, pastry preparation, and packaging baked items with care
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support high-volume production of baked goods
- Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste, appearance, and quality of all baked products
- Restock shelves with fresh baked goods, ensuring attractive presentation and proper labeling
- Support food handling procedures to uphold strict food safety management practices
Qualifications
- Previous experience in baking, pastry preparation, or food production is highly desirable but NOT a requirement
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with dough preparation techniques
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and decorating tools safely
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory levels
- Experience in catering or high-volume bakery environments is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
