- Assist carpenters in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, and other materials.
- Help assemble and install framing components such as walls, floors, and roofs.
- Carry and transport materials and tools to and from the worksite.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
- Follow safety regulations and company standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform basic construction tasks as directed by the lead carpenter or supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced carpenters.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting and manual labor.
