At grove, we focus on ingredient-driven, from-scratch cooking with seasonal menus rooted in Michigan’s farmers and producers. Our Line Cooks are essential to that mission. They are the backbone of service—executing with precision, maintaining standards, and supporting the team through focus and follow-through.

What You’ll Do

Execute dishes consistently across assigned stations during lunch and dinner service

Maintain mise en place standards that support speed, accuracy, and readiness

Work collaboratively across the line to ensure smooth, well-paced service

Uphold grove’s standards for seasoning, texture, temperature, and presentation

Keep your station clean, organized, and service-ready at all times

Support the chef team with prep, setup, and breakdown as needed
