THE OPPORTUNITY
ERES Companies is on an explosive growth trajectory, and this role presents a unique opportunity to shape and lead marketing efforts across corporate, divisional, and large-scale commercial development initiatives. As a divisional leader, the Director of Marketing will be instrumental in advancing current and future marketing and communications strategies for the firm, its service lines, clients, and investments. This includes supporting our rapidly expanding investment and development platform, ERES Capital, which has multiple high-profile projects underway and many more on the horizon.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Marketing Strategy & Leadership: Partner with the ERES leadership team to shape and drive marketing strategies across corporate, divisional, and project-specific initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner, bringing forward fresh ideas, identifying new opportunities, and proactively flagging potential challenges.
- Thought Leadership Content Development, Copywriting: Research, conceptualize, and produce engaging content for a wide range of materials, including websites, social media, press releases, brochures, offering memorandums, proposals, email campaigns, blogs, award submissions, speaking abstracts, thought leadership contributions, and more.
- Proposal Development: Create high impact proposal documents and supporting materials under tight deadlines. This includes strategic content development, layout & design, and development of compelling graphics to highlight key themes.
- Brand & Visual Identity Management: Influence the direction and execution of all visual branding for ERES and its affiliated companies/brands. This includes logo development, website creation and modification, signage design and the assurance of consistent application of brand standards (both internally and externally).
- Social Media Strategy & Growth: Manage and grow social media presence for ERES and all affiliate brands. Collaborate with the marketing assistant to set measurable engagement goals, develop content calendars, create high-quality written and visual content, and ensure consistent updates across platforms. Track and analyze social media metrics to refine strategy and drive meaningful growth.
- Website & Analytics Oversight: Manage ERES and affiliate websites to ensure they remain current, accurate, and impactful. Track website analytics and digital performance to inform strategy, improve user experience, and optimize lead generation.
- Marketing Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources and regular tracking of spend against measurable results. Provide reporting to leadership on budget performance and ROI.
- Public Relations and Third-Party Alliance Management: Create and manage public relations strategy, build and maintain a strong media contact database, and establish relationships with local outlets. Research and secure opportunities for press, guest blogs, speaking engagements, and award submissions. Build strategic marketing partnerships across all ERES markets to expand brand presence and opportunities.
- Market Engagement & Representation: Attend local networking events and serve as a brand ambassador in Sarasota and other ERES markets. Build authentic connections with community leaders, partners, and organizations to enhance visibility and goodwill.
- Project-Based Marketing Support: Conduct market-specific research to support new development and capital projects. Assist with branding, launch plans, collateral development, and stakeholder communications for large-scale projects as they come online.
- Corporate Responsibility & Foundations Support: Partner with the Director of Strategic Initiatives to plan and execute ERES Foundations events. Strengthen community relationships and align marketing efforts with ERES’ broader corporate responsibility platform.
- Internal Communications: Manage the firm’s internal communications (including all-employee calls and newsletters) and collaborate with leadership to ensure employees remain informed, engaged, and connected to the company’s vision and initiatives.
- Deliverable Oversight: Ensure all property-specific and business line deliverables meet client expectations, align with brand standards, and leverage all appropriate marketing channels for maximum impact.
- Flexible Marketing Support: Engage in a variety of marketing, branding, advertising, social media, PR, and communications tasks as needed to support the evolving needs of ERES and its affiliated brands.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 10 years of increasing responsibility in marketing roles, with a focus on commercial real estate or professional services industries
- Demonstrated success in and a track record of launching strategic corporate Marketing initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, journalism, or closely related field required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) a must. Demonstrated experience with Adobe programs (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) a plus.
