What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position at Erdner 3PL?
We are currently seeking to fill an Admin Clerk position for first and second shift. This is a FT / IN-PERSON position (Monday - Friday) with possible mandatory overtime (which may include Saturdays).
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will require strong attention to detail, a high level of quality, problem solving skills and time management skills. The SRO Clerk reports directly to the Site Admin Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
· Check drivers in, verify necessary documents
· Distribute loads to the floor/forklift operators
· Monitor carrier delivery and pick up times
· Update daily loading schedule as it relates to dock appointment times
· Print BOL, check drivers out verify documents
· Ensure paperwork completed timely and accurately
· Other duties as assigned
· Fosters great working relationships-Works very closely with others on daily communications and resource concerns
· Works with others to achieve entire team goals
· Contributes to the quality program, to include: Taking measures to assure continuous exceptional quality. Actively participates in improvement initiative, and actively participates in root cause activities
· Liaison between internal company parties, clients and other third parties
· Maintain information in multiple systems (internal and client)
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
High School Diploma
Experience:
Microsoft Excel
Outlook
Typing 40 WPM
