Due to tremendous growth, Erdner 3PL currently has an opening for an Inventory Specialist at its distribution center in Swedesboro, NJ.
Inventory specialist job description
- Must have good forklift skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Be able to work independently and make good use of time.
- Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of warehouse management systems.
- Routinely cycle count inventory for correctness, quantity and shelf life, reconcile and report discrepancies.
- Work with leadership to assure proper stock rotation.
- Assure the suspect and quarantine process and handle process non-conforming material.
- Responsible for proper updates to inventory systems.
- Ability to identify and communicate non-conforming product or situations that could lead to undesirable results or client satisfaction concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Bring forward opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to use a calculator along with basic math skills.
- Ability to work mandatory overtime as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
