FAMILY ASSISTANT
Position Description
We are looking for a Family Assistant to support multiple principals of a family. Position is located in a farm setting in suburban Philadelphia. This will initially be a temporary full time position while the incumbent is on maternity leave for three months. Thereafter the position will be evaluated with regard to the family’s needs and will be a permanent position either part time or full time.
Family Assistant Duties
Maintain family calendars to include appointment scheduling (medical & veterinary appointments, personal appointments & meetings, travel)
Travel arrangements and logistics: work with travel agents and flight crew to arrange flights, ground transportation and hotel accommodations and disseminate itineraries
Place orders/make purchases for family members
Coordinate registration renewals and regular maintenance for vehicles and boats
Administrative duties related to Principal’s board memberships (disseminate meeting minutes)
Maintain family mailing lists and assist with personal correspondence/Christmas cards
Maintain club memberships and subscriptions
Manage incoming and outgoing mail
Various errands, including: dry cleaning, prescriptions, some shopping.
Other duties as assigned by family.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional computer skills, particularly using Google Apps as well as Microsoft Office
Team player with ability to collaborate and coordinate with team, to include Family Office Director and Controller, Administrative Coordinator, Caretaker, farm and aviation staff, and household staff
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to physically perform all duties as outlined
Other Details
Initially this will be a non-exempt, hourly position with starting pay of $23/hour
Position subject to background check
401k with match after one year of employment
Medical benefits after two months if position becomes full time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
