Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be crucial in ensuring high-quality results.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Select appropriate paints or coatings for each project
- Mix paints and match colors to achieve desired results
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Use power tools and equipment such as sanders, sprayers, and scaffolding
- Repair damaged surfaces and perform minor carpentry work as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Painter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques and materials
- Proficiency in plastering, frame carpentry, concrete finishing, and power tools
- Ability to renovate and weld as necessary
- Familiarity with airless paint spraying and caulking techniques
- Skilled in maintenance person tasks such as fixture installation
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills
