What are the responsibilities and job description for the ERBA Head Start Openings: Charleston, Paris, Chrisman position at ERBA Head Start?
ERBA Head Start has multiple openings for our 2026-2027 school year across many locations. Below is a list of our Northern Openings.
All Head Start positions start at $15.70 an hour. All positions require High School Diploma or GED.
Head Start Classroom Aide/Bus Aide in Chrisman - Part-time (24hrs/week)
Will work collaboratively with teaching staff to assist children who need accommodations and in the classroom. This person will ride the bus to assist with pick up and delivery of children to designated locations, assumes responsibility for the children’s safety on the bus. Must have the ability to assist the children to buckle their restraint system, fill out paperwork as necessary, make sure the children are safely turned over to their parent/guardian, check the bus to make sure it is empty, keep in contact with the Center if the need arises, and be able to keep the children quiet. Other duties as assigned.
Head Start Classroom Aide in Paris - Part-time (20hrs/week)
Will work collaboratively with teaching staff to assist children who need accommodations and in the classroom. Other duties as assigned.
Head Start Classroom Aide/Bus Aide in Charleston - Full-time (35hrs/week)
Will work collaboratively with teaching staff to assist children who need accommodations and in the classroom.
