What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classroom Aide/Bus Aide position at ERBA Head Start?
The ERBA Head Start program at the Charleston center is seeking a School Bus Aide/Classroom Aide. This person will ride the bus to assist with pick up and delivery of children to designated locations, assumes responsibility for the children’s safety on the bus. Must have the ability to assist the children to buckle their restraint system, fill out paperwork as necessary, make sure the children are safely turned over to their parent/guardian, check the bus to make sure it is empty, keep in contact with the Center if the need arises, and be able to keep the children quiet.
