Associate — Investment Team (AI Infrastructure & Venture)

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven Associate to join Era’s investment team, supporting investments across both AI infrastructure and venture capital.
This role sits at the intersection of investment execution, research, and platform operations, working closely with senior leadership, portfolio companies, and global family partners across both private markets and venture ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Execution & Research
- Prepare investment materials including investment memos, market research, diligence summaries, and IC presentations across both infrastructure and venture investments
- Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and underwriting frameworks tailored to both asset-heavy and high-growth businesses
- Support execution of equity, credit, and hybrid transactions
Diligence & Market Research
- Conduct deep diligence on new markets, sectors, and geographies, spanning AI infrastructure (data centers, energy, compute) and venture (AI applications, software, frontier technologies)
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies
- Support technical, commercial, and financial diligence processes
Operational Support (Investments & LPs)
- Provide operational support across active investments and portfolio companies
- Manage and maintain CRM systems for deal flow, pipeline tracking, and LP engagement
- Support LP communications including updates, reporting, and data requests
Deal Sourcing & Ecosystem Development
- Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities across both infrastructure and venture ecosystems
- Engage with founders, operators, and strategic partners globally
- Leverage Era’s family and partner network to generate proprietary deal flow
Strategic & Platform Initiatives
- Contribute to firmwide initiatives across AI infrastructure platforms, venture portfolio strategy, and new investment verticals
- Support partnerships with key ecosystem players (e.g., NVIDIA, neocloud platforms, leading AI startups, sovereign and industrial partners)
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or growth investing
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Experience preparing investment materials and research content
- Ability to work across both structured/infrastructure investments and high-growth venture opportunities
Preferred
- Exposure to AI, infrastructure, energy, or high-growth technology sectors
- Experience with CRM systems and investor reporting workflows
- Strong interest in global, cross-border investing
